There's no doubt about it, Hedi Slimane is the one of the best (the best for me) menswear designers and photographers, his skinny aesthetic, excellent collections, and in general everything he does is almost perfect. Here is a sneak peek of what's coming for the VMAN 9 issue, his article "COME AS YOU ARE" presents 12 Hedi originals that come back for a portrait with their own clothes on, one of those faces is Danny Miller. Hopefully he'll surprise us one of these days and return to the menswear design because I'm a huge fan, for now I'll be waiting to see what's next in his career.

Nothing like a supercool accessory to complete your outfit, everybody should know that they can make the difference between a perfect outfit and a perfect mess, you can add class and originality to a t-shirt and jeans with a nice belt, a good par of sneakers, a necklace, a good pair of sunglasses or everything you have in mind, so here is one of those accessories that well used make an outfit a sure success: oversized, retro frames in turquoise, cream, red, yellow, and blue, and black lens, these sunglasses will put you in the spotlight, but they aren't immune to a fashion crime, make sure that when you wear a flashy accessory, only that one accessory receives all the attention, don't put to many things together or you'll look like a clown. V has become one of the best magazines presenting many of the top models and photographers in editorials full of new ideas and eccentric articles; so when it was revealed that they would do a before and after shoot for V48 with Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin and knowing of their exquisite work I said to myself "this is going to be Major." After a wait - I found myself with a big selection of the best models showing what they're really made of in the before shoot, I love most of the pictures: Lily donaldson (stunning in the before shoot), Jessica Stam, Snejana, Sasha, Lara Stone, Angela Lindvall, Anja (her after shoot is awesome), Jessica, one of my favorites Natasha Poly looking better than ever, Raquel Zimmermann (she's all Glam in her after shoot), Daria Werbowy in her best moment, Doutzen Kroes (mesmerizes me, in both pictures she looks perfect), but there were some that disappointed in my opinion, Malgosia Bela disappointed me after her good season and great photos with OPIUM for YSL in both pictures especially the before one - she looks pretty bad and unrecognizable (view the picture at models.com), I honestly don't know what is doing Carolina Irving in this magazine and I don't know if she really has what it takes to be an übermodel....you'll get my point when you see her photo, and another ooppsss from the article was someone call Kembra... I don't even put the picture here because it would ruin all.

I have to say that this is still one of my favorite editorials of Vmagazine so far and I know that the photos aren't photoshopped because such a big magazine would want to keep some level of honesty with the concept with so many eyes watching....,and because Frillr would have caught them like it did with others as we saw a days ago.
