On Friday, Saks Fifth Avenue unveiled their new shoe department on the eighth floor. The department offers about 10,000 pairs of shoes, nearly double what Saks used to carry on the fourth floor reports NYPOST.

Saks has also expanded the luxury amenities available to shoe customers. A VIP room has been installed for private shopping, complete with spacious seating, refreshments and an adjacent fitting room.

An expert shoe repair and refurbishing service is on hand.
