So, I hear the latest thing is high-waisted jeans, and I am NOT loving this trend at all. For some reason I keep seeing people who think they have great style but really don't, such as Fergie and Mischa Barton, running around LA in these ridiculour granny pants. I just have to say, don't fall into the trap! Don't do it! Don't wear these pants! Stick to your normal flattering low-waist jeans and don't be a poster girl for fashion victims like these girls....

Actresses America Ferrerra and Elisha Cuthbert have been spotted wearing the same Thakoon dress. Who wears it better? My money is on Cuthbert -- notice how on America, the puffy sleeves make the whole dress make her look like a little kid in her finest party dress, but on Elisha the puffy sleeves don't have the same effect.

It's true. You would think one who makes a living getting paid to model the finest clothing that fashion has to offer, would have an iota of fashion sense. After all that exposure to great designers and brilliant clothes (she must get some great clothes free with all those shoots...) it is disappointing to see renowned model Lily Cole wearing one of the strangest getups I have ever seen. My first thought when I saw this was: she looks like she could be straight out of Peter Pan! Did she try to look bad on purpose? That might be better than the idea that she actually thinks this outfit looks sane in the real world, but it's still strange. Behold:

At the Hermès Wall Street opening in NYC, B-list actress Leelee Sobieski showed up in what I can only guess appears to be a strapless lingerie top paired with very, very, VERY high-waisted black pants. Um, what? Topped with her severe expression and slicked-back hair, this is definitely an odd (read: not good) look for her...or anyone in their right mind.

After all, tons of paparazzi were going to be camped outside photographing her every move-- so this PR-savvy gal used that moment to boost her fame even more. Leave it to Paris Hilton--only this girl could turn a prison release into a catwalk and publicity stunt for her new clothing line!
