Dior Homme Spring 2007 Ready-to-Wear

In September, Dior Homme designer Hedi Slimane found himself penning an open letter to New York Times fashion critic Cathy Horyn after the fabulous writer, hinted at similarities between Dior Homme's Spring 2007 look at the hipster phenomenon MisShapes.

Miu Miu Spring 2007 Ready-to-Wear Collection

Miu Miu - Runway Spring 2007

Designer Miuccia Prada continues to intrigue with Prada's young, pretty sister known as Miu Miu. While Miuccia begs for the comparison to end, fashion experts are lauding her take on Russian constructivism, and the elongated line as seen in Miu Miu's Spring 2007 line. The long dress was a welcomed .... I will go on the limb .... and say fresh look for a Spring that is dominated by the Mini.

Like with Prada's Spring 2007 Collection, duchesse satin filled the runway - shirts in shades of navy, black, and wine, worn with high-waist tapering pants. Dresses with touches of Africa and Japan fell below the knee reports Style.com. Still, the line kept the youthful look, that Miu Miu is known for.

Fendi Spring 2007 Women's Ready-to-Wear Collection

Designer Karl Lagerfeld, continues to amaze, one has to wonder, how does he find the time and more importantly the creativity to present three very distinct collections in the same season.

The designer whose genius lies in to blurring the commercial and art line, presented an industrial look for Fendi's Spring 2007 Women's Ready-To-Wear Collection

When asked about the Industrial look, Lagerfeld said he wanted to mix the knowledge, technique & craft of the house of Fendi, with materials that are not normally used at Fendi.

Lagerfeld used high-tech materials such as black silicone, silver leather that was laser-cut to resemble athletic mesh, and holographic paillettes writes Style.com. "I wanted to use the most traditional craftsmanship with the most futuristic of fabrics," he said.

Sexy Chanel , Spring 2007 Women's

Chanel's Spring 2007 Women's line is all about the leg, says Designer Karl Lagerfeld . Models took the runway in trademark Chanel jackets over revealing minis.

Lagerfeld says the clothes are so light, they are anorexic.

Tiny sequined skirts or short dresses under pink-and-gray striped cardigans pulled over the back of the head, paired with stacks of gold cuffs, link bracelets, chain-and-pearl necklaces, and plastic-glitter wedges and platforms were the order of the show.

Lagerfeld says "If you don't like it very short then put it over trousers."

The sporty mood took Chanel back to its roots says Lagerfeld. (Chanel was one of the first houses to offer luxury sportswear)

He adds that since the sport look is so hot now, why not make it chic?

Here ..Here Karl

The good news, everything will be available for purchase.

"I don't show anything that is not for sale," said the 68-year-old Lagerfeld.

"Whatever you see on the Chanel runway you can have it in the shop. You have to go early because those things disappear quite quickly and the sales girls have a tendency to hide them for their favorite clients."

Lanvin Spring 2007 Womens

Lanvin Fall-Winter 2006 Womens Ready to wear

Lanvin's Spring 2007 Women's Line was all about newness ( I love that word). Creative director Alber Elbaz said everything about this line was different. Elbaz adds that Lanvin wanted to reflect the ever changing woman.

The Spring 2007 line broke away from the Paris 2007 Spring norm of retro looks for something youthful, sexy, sharp and new. tons of newness. The sexy line was also a departure from Elbaz's modernist Parisian elegance

Lanvin interjects technology with beautiful, elegant yet, wearable fabric that looks like it would work on any body shape
