Just yesterday, Beyonce officially became the new face of Emporio Armani's Diamonds fragrance, complete with a big launch at the Herald Square Macy's in NYC. The first 150 people to pick up a bottle even got to meet the R&B singer herself. She has also previously done two fragrance campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger. She also performed during an Armani showing in 2006, so is no stranger to the design house.

Yes, that is a Louis Vuitton Tribute Patchwork bag. The one so horrible we thought it had died and disappeared and we'd never see it again. And there it is, on the arm of Beyonce. Yea or nay? personally: I hate this bag.

Oh man...I'm tired of reporting about celebrity designers, but this one is too ridiculous to miss. Tina Knowles, who has previously made herself famous 'designering' for her daughter Beyonce, has now decided to design her own line of clothing. And it will be targeted at the "forgotten woman"...whoever that is. Let's hope her clothes become quickly forgotten also.

All I have to say is: this is a bad, bad idea. After all, Tina Knowles is the woman who once designed and dressed her daughter in this:

Beyoncé Knowles is set to be the face - and voice - of Giorgio Armani's new
perfume, called Emporio Armani Diamonds

The singer star will appear in both print and TV advertising and will sing her own rendition of a classic American song, after being handpicked by the Italian designer reports WWD.

A source told Page Six: "They have known each other for
seven years, and Armani feels Beyoncé represents the glamour and glitz of
the fragrance."

'Crazy in Love' singer Beyoncé, already has her own fragrance range, True Star, which was launched in late 2004 with designer Tommy Hilfiger.

The has also featured in advertising campaigns for L'Oreal, Pepsi and McDonalds.

Its a sad day when the usually disastrous rock star Pink is a fashion highlight.
