Style.com is reporting that Hollywood actress, Scarlett Johansson, will be the face of Dolce & Gabbana's spring 2009 campaign. Johansson is also rumored to be the face of Dolce & Gabbana's new makeup line.

 

Fendi taps celebrities to customize baguettes

Italian fashion house Fendi asked Scarlett Johansson, Kim Cattrall, Sally Hershberger, Marchesa designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, the MisShapes, and freelance costume designer Chris March to customize a white canvas coated version its iconic baguette bag,. They will be sold for $2,500 each on eLuxury.com starting April 17, and proceeds from the one-of-a-kind bags will be donated to charities selected by each designer, Fashion Week Daily reports.

So, I hear the latest thing is high-waisted jeans, and I am NOT loving this trend at all. For some reason I keep seeing people who think they have great style but really don't, such as Fergie and Mischa Barton, running around LA in these ridiculour granny pants. I just have to say, don't fall into the trap! Don't do it! Don't wear these pants! Stick to your normal flattering low-waist jeans and don't be a poster girl for fashion victims like these girls....

Actress Scarlett Johansson looks gorgeous in the Fall-Winter 2007 . 2008 Louis Vuitton campaign. For the new Louis Vuitton campaign Scarlett Johansson the movie star plays up her voluptuous curves reports WWD.

"In this one, she's much more recognizable," said Antoine Arnault, Vuitton's communications director says.

Vuitton creative director Marc Jacobs "adores" Johansson and based his fall-winter collection for the house around her character in "Girl With a Pearl Earring," the 2003 feature film about a peasant girl who becomes the model for 17th-century Dutch artist Johannes Vermeer's most famous work.

The fall campaign, lensed by Vuitton regulars Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, plays up the painterly colors of the ready-to-wear. "It's probably one of the most beautiful campaigns Mert and Marcus have ever shot," Arnault said. "It's a very iconic campaign."

Arnault, son of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton chairman Bernard Arnault and a member of LVMH's board, said Johansson was at ease during the shoot, held in a studio in her hometown of Los Angeles in late March. In fact, during a lunch break, the photographers were so struck by the combination of light and Johansson that they snapped some impromptu black-and-white portraits that will be featured in a future issue of Pop magazine.
