Chloé Spring 2007 Ready-to-Wear Collection 'Runway Review'Submitted by frillr on Tue, 2007-01-02 17:24.Chloe's Spring 2007 Collection - simply put - was about staying relevant as the house waits for the arrival of designer Paulo Melim from Marni. While critics weren't expecting much from Chloe with the departure of head designer, Phoebe Philo in January, the house managed to put together a respectable Chloe show filled with wearable staples. Style.com reports on the fragile blouses, short Empire dresses built around ,a Gloria Vanderbilt theme which was indicated in log-cabin patchworks and a seventies palette of ochre, brown, and purple. Christian Lacroix Loves Gaud - Spring 2007 Runway ReviewSubmitted by frillr on Wed, 2006-12-27 14:59.Gaudy oversized bowling bags, large beaded necklaces and tasseled space - age wedges were the order of the day for Christian Lacroix's Spring 2007, Women's Ready-to-Wear Runway Collection. While there was a hint of his couture genius , Christian Lacroix presented a collection that lacked the Lacroix oomph reports Style.com . Lacroix joined the metallic craze, presenting a section of dresses featuring sparkly silver sequins. The one thing printed on memory (not sure if this is a good thing) about this show was the prints. Christian Lacroix went wild with patterns and prints. Belted, geometric jacquard coats, with sleeves that puffed in the elbow region and a ivory-and-black Chantilly lace button-less cardigan were highlights of the show reports Style.com Christian Lacroix Spring 2007, Womens Ready-to-Wear Runway Video Christian Lacroix Spring 2007, Womens Ready-to-Wear Runway SlideShow |
