2008 COSTUME INSTITUTE GALA - THE FASHION

Hollywood's elite stormed the Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute Gala for the opening of the exhibition "Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy, " WWD reports. Fashion lovers hoping for an array of elaborate superhero outfits were left disappointed as celebrities played it safe. Most stars appeared bloated and extremely tired.
