Rad Hourani Spring-Summer 2008

Canadian stylist Rad Hourani made his Paris runway debut with a dark & chic collection bringing to mind a Helmut Lang , Ann Demeulemeester and Dior Homme mélange.

We are in love with this unisex collection. There are tight trousers with horizontal knee bands, rectangular tops and floor-length cardigans with tight, elongated sleeves.

Named one of Top 10 contenders by Style.com, Rad Hourani's spring prêt-a-porter in Paris was applauded by the fashion it set.

"I was surprised by the reaction because it was a project from the heart,'' Rad Hourani tells STAR

Rad Hourani says of the line "It's minimalist in a complex way.''

The fabrics are light: buttery leathers from South Africa, soft knits from Italy, silks.

The collection was picked up by Holt Renfrew, for three stores, and by Reborn in Montreal. Barney's in New York is considering carrying the line.
