Naomi still Reigns

I really admire Naomi Campbell. Stop laughing. I know we are supposed be doing the whole world hates Naomi thing but I’m not a willing party. I’ve heard she can lose her temper at times and perhaps her time keeping can leave a lot to be desired but does that make her a bad person? Even with her well documented problems the fashion industry still worship at the altar of Kate Moss and my girl Naomi can’t even get a Vogue cover. Her words not mine. I can’t tell you the exact reasons why. Neither am I particularly interested or bothered about the politics of a possible double standard at work. What I do know is Naomi still commands attention. She has just worked the runway at both Milan and London Fashion week. She is the cover girl for the October edition of UK ‘I-D’ magazine, she is a tireless charity worker (See her recent Fashion Aid campaign), she modeled along with Gisele at the Christian Dior 60th anniversary show and to top it all off she's a superb domestic cleaner. I mean how could anyone say anything against her? She’s Nelson Mandela’s (adopted) granddaughter, for goodness sake. Long may she reign.
