In what isn't even really news anymore, yet ANOTHER celebrity has jumped the celebrity-designer bandwagon. Victoria Beckham yesterday launched her DVB label in Manhattan at Saks Fifth Avenue, while crowds went wild.
The launch was followed by a celebratory dinner hosted by Saks CEO Steve Sodove. Many members of the press, including several influential fashion editors, who were surely mentally scrutinizing both Beckham and her designs, were present at the event.
"I had a wonderful day today. I know all of you want to eat – including myself," she said, as the dinner was being served, and then added: "I hate to ruin the rumors."

Not just another celebrity clothing line
I realise that, being a Victoria Beckham fan, I'm slightly biased, but this isn't 'just another celebrity clothing line'. Victoria is making fashion her career. She doesn't sing anymore, and what she does for a career (besides shopping, being a mother of three, and looking fab) is her fashion line, dVb. So yeah it's not like a singer or something who sings all the time and just slaps their name on something. Fashion is her actual career.
