Eva Herzigova is a New Mom

Supermodel Eva Herzigova has become a new mom. Her son, George Marsiaj Herzig, was born June 1 in Paris, and weighed 9 lbs and 1 oz. This is the 34-year-old Czech supermodel's first child, with her partner of six years, Gregorio Marsiaj, a businessman hailing from Turin. A Spokesperson for Eva said that the family is doing well and leaving for a vacation soon.

The model said that she will not be following the celebrity trend of dieting to shed the baby weight in a matter of weeks.

"I just want to enjoy this. I'm not like one of those celebrity people who would die to get back into shape," she said in an interview last month.

"If people want to take pictures of me being round, they will take pictures of me being round. I think it's important to show your true self and how you are - you don't have to be in perfect shape or skinny shape."

Interesting, considering Eva has garnered much attention in the past for her notably skinny frame, and some of have speculated that she has been anorexic in the past.
