Zac Posen's new Cruise 2008 line, if nothing else, focuses on the waist. Countless dresses and outfits in his new line focus on creating a curvy, hourglass silhouette with cinched and belted waistlines. Romantic ruffled skirts, bright colors, berets, and formal shorts round out a collection that is definitely not short on variety. There is no one easy way to characterize the collection, as it is filled with whimsical dresses, bright hues, girlish silhouettes and chic hats. Gorgeous, body-hugging bright green gowns are mixed in with printed formal shorts, retro cigarette pants, and crazy plaid jackets.

The designs range from classic to urban chic to girly and cute, and like every Zac Posen collection, there's something for every woman--which is exactly why Posen has become the fashion world's "it" man in only a few short seasons. Some major stars, from both Hollywood and the fashion industry, were present in the front row of Posen's show, including Diddy, Nicole Richie, Anna Wintour, Joel Madden, and Joe Zee, to name a few.
