Tennis Star Boris Becker to Be New face of Ralph Lauren

International tennis star Boris Becker has signed on to be the new face of Polo Ralph Lauren. He will be the official brand ambassador for Wimbledon 2007. Becker is a six-time Grand Slam singles champion, Olympic gold medalist, and the youngest-ever winner of the men’s singles title at Wimbledon at the age of 17. The deal says that he will be wearing Ralph Lauren for the in the entire tournament, where he will be serving as brand ambassador and Wimbledon commentator. He will also host Wimbledon parties at Ralph Lauren's flagship stores. Personally, I think they couldn't have made a better choice than Boris Becker. Perfect match for a sophisticated, elegant label such as Ralph Lauren.

“I have always loved Ralph Lauren clothing,” Becker said. “The chic style of the clothes and the heritage of the brand make it the perfect match for Wimbledon.” Polo Ralph Lauren is in its second year as official outiftter of Wimbledon.
