Isabel Dupre, veteran Style Director of Elle Magazine, has announced that she is leaving the magazine to freelance full time. Her last day in the Elle offices was June 4. Dupre has worked with Elle for fourteen years and has become very well-liked in the industry, making her departure a sad occasion for some of her friends and fans. What will she do next? "In addition to working her magic for the likes of Badgley Mischka, Gap, and Victoria’s Secret, she’s also cast her stylish eye onto the wardrobes of Julia Stiles, Emmy Rossum, Amanda Bynes, and Julianne Moore," says an article in Fashion Week Daily. Dupre's departure happens to be the second high-level resignation from the magazine since the arrival of new art director Joe Zee. Coincidence? Elle's PR people say it is....but there's no telling what's really going on behind the scenes at Elle.
