Rumor has it designer Erin Fetherston has been tapped to be the next Go! International designer for Target, following Alice Temperley. Which is great news, since I love Erin Fetherston. But rumor also has it that the Paris-based designer, is planning to open up a shop for her 'American and French' company in New York City, basing her decision on the fact that so much of her business takes place there, including fashion shows. However, she promises that she's not leaving Paris. She plans to open up the store on the far west side of the city, to get away from the frenzied atmosphere of Manhattan. Fetherston recently finished designing her first holiday collection, designer in New York. She also plans to produce and sample some of her Spring 2008 collection in New York.
