Bruno Pieters is relatively a newcomer to the fashion scene. Being born in old Belgium, he brilliantly conceived a rather small collection that did pretty well at Milan.
Evoking the very style of the Amish, Pieters catapults everyone, who dares to induce an entire "shot" of his style, back in time. The concept of rebellion against technology nicely shifts to a new conceptual vision in which the pursue for "mode" differentiability predominates, and a complete avoidance of mainstream style aesthetics is set to appear.
His garments are the type of clothing items that cannot be worn unless you follow properly the "play rules" set by the designer. They are distinguishably well crafted and, since they are portrayed in a minimalist palette, they can be included in your daily outfits; and, as many correctly think, style all about how you perceive it. So for instance the hats that he exposes in most of his costumes, can be interpreted as very weird looking fedoras. In addition, the pants, the vests, and coat are so magnificently superb that, if seen in a different ambient, you won't realize the real concept behind them.
Bruno, a great future awaits you.
