El Museo del Barrio Annual Gala

Last weekend, El Museo del Barrio hosted its annual gala at Cipriani on 42nd in New York. The event was packed with designers, socialites, and other fashion tastemakers. Notable names present were Carolina Herrerra, who was the event's honorary chair, Narcisco Rodriguez, Fabiola Beracasa, Yaz and Valentin Hernandez, and countless others. The event was a masquerade ball, with over 50 designers contributing masks for guests, including Badgley Mischka and Lambertson Truex.

The museum, which specializes in Latin American and Carribean cultures, is the premiere Latino/a institution of its kind in New York. The event raised close to one million dollars for El Museo del Barrio.
