Style at Cannes

One of the biggest film industry event of the year, the Cannes Film Festival, has finally come. The premieres, awards, and general glamorous-ness are fascinating enough but the fashion is even more so. This year featured some hits and some definite misses:

Mischa Barton arrived in this questionable black and white, winged one-shoulder dress. Mischa is typically known for her carefree, bohemian style, and the dark lipstick, severe hair, and sharp dress don't suit her at all.

Chloe Sevigny is supposedly revered for her unique style, but I don't see what the fuss is about. This plain, ruffled white shirt, and high-waisted black skirt doesn't befit the occasion - it just makes her look like a secretary who just got off of work. At least Mischa knew how to dress up!

Finally, Angelina Jolie wears this beautiful yellow Ungaro gown perfectly - it's a gorgeous color and fit.
