Bag of the Moment: The YSL Downtown Tote

Every season (or sometimes every other week) brings with it a new bag that celebrites just can't get enough of. Following the success of the Mombasa, Rive Gauche, and Muse bags, YSL has created the latest can't-live-without-it bag for celebs: the ubiquitous Downtown tote. It's been spotted on the arm of countless stars and starlets in LA - Maggie Gylenhaal, Salma Hayek, Jessica Biel, Ashlee Simpson, Cameron Diaz, Kylie Minogue, and many others.

Personally, I don't see what all the fuss is about- the shape and design don't seem that appealing to me. Nevertheless, this bag has been flying off the shelves at every major department store and is clearly the bag to be seen with this season - if you have, oh, about $1295-1595 lying around.
