Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2010 collection was inspired by "hippie punks".
Creative director Marc Jacobs showed the line at Paris Fashion Week and revealed his theme was the New Age clothes popular in the 80s and 90s.
He said: "Street clothes, embracing the hippie-cyber, tribal-punk world."
Models wore huge, brightly-colored Afro wigs and pranced down the catwalk to music by British girl band The Saturdays.
Glitter anoraks, shirts with fringing, satin corset, denim hot-pants and moccasins with heels all featured heavily.
Other accessories included cowboy boots, PVC clogs with a fur trim and duffle bags.
The show attracted an A-list clientele, with Catherine Deneuve, Freida Pinto, Leighton Meester, Sophie Dahl and fiance Jamie Cullum, Katy Perry, Alison Goldfrapp and Daisy Lowe all in attendance.
However, not everyone was quite so lucky.
Marc - who started his September 2007 Marc Jacobs show two hours late - was keen to stick to his schedule, with the preview starting at precisely 2.30pm.
Many had to rush to their seats, while those who were late were not allowed entry.
