For Frida Giannini's debut Gucci Mens Wear collection, the designer reestablishes a relationship between the men's and women's wear Gucci Lines. Giannini presented a Men's Collection that plays off the 60's feel of the Women's Spring-Summer 2007 Collection.

Tim Blanks for style.com says Giannini thinks about girls like herself when she designs for women, and for men she was imagining the kind of boys that girls like herself would want to hang with. Boys from her hometown, Rome.

For men, Giannini went with loud patterns and colors: rephrase she went crazy .... Frida Giannini paired jackets with tie-print motifs, loud shirts and louder ties with tight pinstripe hipsters, Beatle boots, and floppy hair .

The collection is sexy, and will probably translate well in editorials...... Do guys still wear colored trousers?
