NUMBER:Lab Spring-Summer 2012
The NUMBER:Lab Spring 2012 show took place on Wednesday, September 7 at The Standard New York.
Designer Luis Fernandez borrowed from both the French Riviera in the 1930s and contemporary skater style to craft a collection of graphic, athletic-inspired men’s wear that was marked by collaged stripes, inventive use of performance fabric and high-contrast color.
Key pieces included the color-blocked board shorts, striped pegged pants, cadet jackets, and the fractal black-and-white print created in collaboration with artist Joseph La Piana.
