Carine Roitfeld’s new magazine, "CR"

Carine Roitfeld’s new magazine, will be called “CR.” WWD has a preview of the new title set to launch in September 2012. Roitfeld's handwritten initials appear scrawled across the matte cover of the biannual.
“The name’s not a big surprise, but oh well,” Roitfeld said to WWD.
“I’m in the middle of searching for new talents, and it’s so exciting and energizing,” she said.
Fashion Media Group LLC, the New York-based company behind Visionaire, V and VMan, will publish CR Fashion Book, the magazine’s full registered name.

Russian Standard Vodka Is Gold

by Doshka Harvey

I don't fancy myself much of a drinker and definitely wouldn't ordinarily order vodka if I were out socializing; however, at the recent exclusive tasting soiree for Russian Standard Vodka held at the Dream Hotel in NYC in their fanciful Library Room, I was left divinely impressed enough to at least want to keep this brand in mind next time when out at a lounge.

The tasting introduced all in attendance to the company's four vodkas: Russian Standard Vodka, Russian Standard Platinum, Russian Standard Gold and Imperia. Being the number one premium vodka in Russia, it is no wonder that this brand is ready to take the U.S. by storm. Imperia was the first to hit the U.S. market in 2006 and their latest masterpiece, ready to make its American debut this month, is Russian Standard Gold. With a seductive hint of sweetness due to its caramel and vanilla cinnamon notes, undoubtedly you too will become smitten.
